Management and Gilde acquire pack2pack Halsteren from Greif

pack2pack Halsteren Management and Gilde today announced the acquisition through a management buy-out of pack2pack Halsteren BV from Greif International Holding B.V. Pack2pack is one of the leading (Benelux) producers of industrial tinplate packaging. Pack2pack has been part of the Greif group since it was acquired in 2011 through the acquisition of pack2pack group, with activities predominately in reconditioning of industrial packaging. Pack2pack Halsteren engages in the manufacturing and sale of pails and tin cans for the non-food and food industry. Pack2pack Halsteren will continue its activities independently under the name pack2pack. The consideration paid will not be disclosed.

Pack2pack Halsteren has a long history dating back to 1942 when it was founded as Plamentha. It started first producing metal packaging in 1968. After various ownership changes, Greif acquired pack2pack Halsteren in 2011 as part of pack2pack group, with activities predominately in reconditioning of industrial packaging. Pack2pack Halsteren develops and sells various cans and pails for industrial packaging, supplying predominately the paint and food industry. Pack2pack Halsteren operates from its facilities in Halsteren (the Netherlands), employs more than 100 people and generates approx. € 28 million in revenue.
